  • 250g - Pumpkin cubes
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 3cups - water
  • Few strands of Saffron
  • 1/2tsp - Cardamom powder
  • How to Make White Pumpkin (Ghia) kesaria muraabba:

    1. Prick the pumpkin cubes with a fork.
    2. Blanch the pumpkin cubes in boiling water. Strain and set aside.
    3. Dissolve sugar in water and bring to a boil.
    4. Add the pumpkin cubes, saffron and cardamom powder.
    5. Cook until sugar syrup is thick.
    6. Rest for 24 hours.
    7. Simmer in a pan the next day to thicken the syrup.
    8. Cool and store in dry jars.
