  • 2.5 cup - Maida
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 200 gm - Yoghurt
  • 5 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 cup - grated Almonds
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 200 gm - Butter
  • How to Make Yoghurt and Lemon Cake:

    1. In a bowl add butter, sugar and mix it well.
    2. Separate the white and the yolk of egg. Add the white portion to the bowl and mix it well.
    3. Mix the maida and baking powder.
    4. Add half the yoghurt (100 gm) and half the maida to the bowl.
    5. Add the almonds and lemon juice to the mixture.
    6. Add the remaining yoghurt and maida.
    7. Now add the whites of the eggs to the bowl.
    8. Mix it lightly with hands.
    9. Take a tube-cake pan and grease it thoroughly with oil or butter.
    10. Pour the mixture into it.
    11. Put the pan in a preheated oven (180 degrees Celsius) till it is done.
