  • 1 small packet of ricotta cheese (fat free)
  • 1.5 gallon Milk (2% Milk)
  • Sugar to taste
  • cardamom, kesar, badam, Kaju (powder all this)
  • How to Make Yummy Ras Malai:

    1. Beat ricotta cheese in a bowl till smooth. (Sometimes there are lots of lumps in the cheese).
    2. Add sugar to taste. Remember that there will be sugar in the milk too. So be careful!
    3. Beat again and than spread the cheese mixture on a pie dish and bake for about 30-35 minutes at 300-350 degree F or till the knife that has been inserted comes out clean.
    4. Let it cool and then cut into diamond-shaped pieces.
    5. While the malai (cheese) is baking, put milk to boil. Keep stirring it.
    6. Mix sugar and the powder of all the dry-fruits to the milk.
    7. Cool the milk and then add the malai pieces.
    8. Serve cold.
