How to Make Zesty mango rice

  • Cook rice with enough water, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add green chillies, garlic, grated coconut, asafoetida and saute for 2 minutes, then add grated mango.
  • Again saute for 3 more minutes, allow it to cool and grind it to a coarse paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, add ground paste, ghee, curry leaves, finally add cooked rice, and mix well and serve.
