The tradition that is followed on this day is to divide the meat from the sacrificed animal into three parts. The first part is allocated to the family, the second given to relatives and the third part is distributed among the poor and needy.
Along with preparing delicious delicacies, prayers are offered that play a major role in the celebration of this festival.
