Ingredients

  • 4 - big Alphonso mangoes
  • 1 kg - sugar
  • 1/2 litre - water
  • 1 tbsp - milk

How to Make Alphonso Mango Cooler

  • Chop the mangoes into pieces.
  • Blend the mango pieces in a liquidiser without any water to make a pulp.
  • Boil water with sugar in a heavy bottomed steel vessel.
  • After a boil, add milk.
  • Once the sugar dissolves completely, remove from heat.
  • Cool completely.
  • Add the mango pulp and mix well.
  • Strain and fill into dry sterilised bottles and refrigerate.
  • To serve:
  • Pour approximately 3 to 4 tbsp mango pulp in a tall glass and add sufficient water and crushed ice.
  • Mix well and serve chilled.
