Ingredients

  • Basmati rice - 1/2 kg
  • Chicken boneless - 1/2 kg
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp
  • Onion - 1 chopped
  • Capsicum - 1 chopped
  • Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf - 2
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Raisin - 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • Yellow food colour - 1 pinch
  • salt to taste

How to Make Arabian Chicken Rice

  • Boil the rice with salt and bay leaf.
  • Mix all masalas in yogurt and marinate chicken with it.
  • Heat oil, fry onion.
  • Then add chicken and cook till done or dry.
  • Shred the meat.
  • In a pan, layer rice and raisins with chicken, colour and capsicum.
  • Return to heat and cook covered for 10 minutes
  • Serve hot with raitha.
