  • 2 cups - aval
  • 3 - onion
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 1 handful - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 4 - potatoes
  • Oil to deep fry
  • 1 tbsp - maida
  • Salt as needed

How to Make Aval Pakoda

  • Cut the onions, finely.
  • In a big bowl, add poha, onions, salt red chilli powder, maida and coriander leaves. Mix it well and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • Meanwhile boil the potatoes for 5 whistles, peel, mash, cool and mix it well with the poha mixture.
  • Make it into small balls tightly without adding water.
  • Deep fry the pakodas till it turns golden brown.
  • Serve hot
