  • 1 bunch - spinach, cleaned and chopped
  • 1 - avocado, deseeded
  • 1- green tomato, chopped
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp - lime juice
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - mustard and cumin
  • salt

How to Make Avocado Spinach Chutney

  • Add lime juice to the deseeded avocado, mash well and keep aside.
  • In a kadai heat oil and add mustard and cumin. Once mustard pops, keep one portion of this seasoning aside and add green chillies and onions to the kadai.
  • Fry till onions turn golden brown.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes and spinach; mix well till they become slightly soft.
  • Add the grated ginger and turn off the stove.
  • After this cools down, blend well with mashed avocado and salt.
  • Add the seasoning kept aside before serving.
  • Can be served with any bread, roti, rice or dosa
