  • 4 Bananas
  • Whites of 2 eggs
  • 1 packet lemon jelly
  • ¾ pint boiling water
  • 1 tbsp. sugar

How to Make Banana Cream

  • Make the jelly and allow it to cool. Mash the bananas, add three quarters of the jelly to them.
  • Whisk the whites of the eggs until stiff and fold into the mixture. Fold in the sugar.
  • Pour into a wet mould and allow to set. Turn out and serve surrounded with chopped jelly.
