  • 1 cup - Finely chopped beans
  • 1 cup - Finely chopped carrot
  • 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - Split urad dal
  • 4 - Dry chillies
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Beans Carrot Curry

  • Pressure cook the beans and carrots.
  • In a Kadai, pour 2 tsps of oil and mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
  • Add the urad dal, asafoetida and dry chillies.
  • Add the vegetables and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Now add salt to taste.
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut for added taste.
