Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Beef (sirloin)
  • 5 gms - Salt
  • 250 gms - Potatoes
  • 200 gms - Tomatoes
  • To grind:
  • 1 - Fresh coconut, scraped
  • 5 gms - Coriander leaves (kothmeer)
  • 1 tsp - Jeera/ cumin seeds
  • 8 - Pepper corns
  • 6 cloves - Garlic
  • 1/2 inch - Ginger
  • 2 - Medium onions
  • 6 - Medium green chillies
  • 3 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 - Medium onion, sliced for seasoning
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar

How to Make Beef Curry with Green Masala

  • Cook meat in 3 cups of water and salt.
  • Add the potatoes and tomatoes to the meat.
  • While the meat boils, grind the masala.
  • Brown half a sliced onion in hot ghee.
  • Pour the cooked meat, masala, vinegar, salt in the seasoning and simmer for half an hour.
