Ingredients

  • 250 g - rice
  • 100 ml - milk
  • 10 g - cardamom powder
  • 5 g - cinnamon sticks
  • 25 g - cashew nuts
  • 15 g - raisins
  • 10 g - ghee
  • 15 g - khoya

How to Make Biranj

  • Mix water and milk in equal measure.
  • Soak rice in this mixture for two hours.
  • Add cardamom, cinnamon and ghee.
  • Cook rice till water and milk are absorbed.
  • Sprinkle khoya, cashew nuts and raisins.
  • Smear ghee. Serve hot.
