  • 1 - big onion
  • 2 - tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Bitter Gourd Curry (Karela Curry)

  • Cut the karela, onions and tomatoes into fine pieces. Heat oil in a pan.
  • Put mustard seeds in the oil and once it splits up, put the onion and karela pieces.
  • Fry till it gets half cooked.
  • Then add tomatoes, chilli powder and salt and close pan with the lid.
  • Once it's done garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
  • This dish goes well with rice.
