Ingredients

  • Kofta:
  • 4-5 - slices of Bread
  • 2 - medium potatoes
  • To taste - salt, garam masala, lemon juice
  • For Gravy:
  • 2 - Tomatoes or Tomato puree
  • 1 - Onion
  • 3-4 - cloves of garlic,
  • 2 - green chillies, small piece of ginger
  • To taste - salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and some heavy cream (optional)

How to Make Bread Kofta Curry

  • To prepare kofta:
  • Boil the potatoes and mash it. Wet the bread slice with some water and mix it with the potatoes. Add salt, garam masala and little lemon juice.
  • Shape them into ovals or round shape. Then deep fry it in the oil and keep it aside.
  • For gravy:
  • Heat some oil in a pan add chopped onion, garlic, green chillies and ginger in the oil, fry it until brown.
  • Then add the cut tomato pieces or tomato puree it. Let it cook for a while.
  • Then add all masalas with some water and boil the gravy for a while.
  • Add the kofta to the gravy 5 minutes before serving. Top with cream
