  • 1 cup - brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup - butter
  • 1/4 cup - milk

How to Make Caramel Butter Frosting

  • Add melted butter to brown sugar and bring to a boil.
  • Stir until slightly thick. Cool slightly.
  • Add milk and beat well.
  • Beat in sifted confectioner's sugar to make the spread consistent.
  • Refrigerate a little for a firmer spreading consistency.
