Ingredients

  • 2 - carrots
  • 1 - large radish
  • 2 - green chillies
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • 2 cups - thick yogurt
  • 2 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - oil

How to Make Carrot Mooli Raita

  • Grate carrots and radish. Beat the yogurt and add salt and asafoetida, stir well.
  • Add the grated vegetables, and mix well.
  • Heat oil, add mustard, when it splutters, add the chopped green chillies.
  • Pour over the raita.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
