Ingredients

  • 1 - chicken, cut into small cubes
  • 1 - onion
  • 3 cloves - garlic
  • 1/2 inch - ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - haldi
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 - lime
  • 2 to 3 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - curry powder
  • 1 - big tomato
  • Coriander for garnishing
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Chicken Country Captain

  • Marinate the chicken in lime juice, haldi, curry powder, and salt for half an hour.
  • Heat oil, and add cumin, chopped ginger-garlic, and green chillies; saute.
  • Then add finely chopped onions; cook until light brown.
  • Add the chicken with the marinade along with the chopped tomato. Add salt to taste and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
