Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - chicken
  • 5 flakes- garlic
  • 1/2 inch- ginger
  • 10 - medium, green chillies
  • 2 - onions
  • 2 - tomatoes, sliced
  • 3 - cloves
  • 1 - cinnamon
  • 1- coconut, ground
  • 1 tbsp - lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 bunch -coriander leaves.

How to Make Chicken Curry - Mother's Recipe

  • Heat 2 tbsps oil and saute the chopped onions. Add the ground masala to it and fry for 2-3 mins.
  • Now add a little water, salt, chicken and cook on a slow fire.
  • When its half cooked, add the cloves, cinnamon, and the chopped tomatoes.
  • Cook until tender then add 1 tbsp of the lime juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
