Ingredients

  • 125 g - butter
  • 100 g - castor sugar
  • 75 g - grated jaggery
  • 1 - egg
  • 100 g - flour
  • 50 g - coconut powder
  • 125 g - chocolate chips
  • 100 g - melted chocolate for decoration

How to Make Chocolate Chip Biscuits

  • Whip butter, sugar and jaggery until light and fluffy.
  • Stir in the egg, followed by the flour, coconut and chocolate chips.
  • Place spoonfuls of the mixture on a lightly oiled sheet and bake in a moderate oven at 180 degrees C for 10-20 minutes or until golden in colour.
  • Let the biscuits cool slightly before removing from the tray. Decorate with melted chocolate.
