  • 6 - Rajapuri raw mangoes
  • 1/4 kg - red chilli powder
  • 2.5kg - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - cumin seeds

How to Make Chundo

  • Clean, peel, and grate the raw mangoes. Mix the pulp with the sugar (the ratio is 1 cup of mango to 1 cup of sugar).
  • Once mixed, put it in a broad vessel, cover with a muslin cloth, and leave in the sun till the sugar has melted.
  • Add red chilli powder to taste and stir in the cumin seeds.
  • Fill in a pickle jar and store.
