Ingredients

  • 125 g - flour
  • 70 g - icing sugar
  • 1.5 tsp - cinnamon powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp - milk
  • 75 g - butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 handful almond flakes
  • For glazing:
  • 2 tbsp - milk
  • 1 egg yolk

How to Make Cinnamon Cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C.
  • Mix all the ingredients (except almonds) together and knead into dough.
  • Put the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Roll the dough into a square of 3-4 mm thickness.
  • Mix the egg yolk with two tablespoons of milk and paint it on the dough.
  • Place some almond flakes on the top.
  • Bake the dough in an oven for 15 minutes.
  • After baking, cut the hot cake into small pieces and serve.
