Ingredients

  • Long grain rice - 1 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying.

How to Make Coconut Dosa for kids

  • Soak rice for 4 hours.
  • Grind rice, salt and coconut together to a very fine paste adding water when needed
  • Make a thin batter by adding water.
  • Keep it for an hour.
  • Heat a tawa and pour a little oil and pour a ladle full of batter on the tawa. The batter being thin will spread on the tawa automatically.
  • Cover the dosa for a minute and cook.
  • Then flip it, cook and serve
