Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - tinned pineapple
  • 175 g - maida
  • 150 g - sugar
  • 1 cup - desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 pinch - baking soda
  • 4 drops - pineapple essence
  • 2 - eggs
  • 100 g - butter

How to Make Coconut Pineapple Cake

  • Set the oven temperature to 180 degree Celsius.
  • Grease a baking tray and keep aside
  • Sieve maida, baking powder and soda together twice
  • Beat butter and sugar well until it becomes creamy
  • Add eggs to this creamy mixture and beat it with a electric blender until fluffy.
  • Gradually add maida mixture to it and blend well.
  • Add desiccated coconut and crushed canned pineapple to the cake batter and mix it well.
  • Pour the batter to the greased tray and bake it for 40 - 45 mins
