Ingredients

  • 1 cup - basmati rice
  • 1 cup - grated coconut
  • 5 - green chillies, cut into long slices
  • Coriander
  • 2 tsp - ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • Salt - according to taste

How to Make Coconut Rice

  • Cook rice in a pan.
  • Heat ghee and add cumin seeds and green chillies. Saute for 2 mins.
  • Add rice, grated coconut and salt to it, and cover the pan with a lid. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
  • Finally, add coriander and lemon juice, and mix everything well.
