Ingredients

  • 1kg - pork, cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 3 large - onions, sliced finely
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp - garlic paste
  • 2 sticks - cinnamon
  • 4 - cloves
  • 2 - cardamoms
  • 2 tbsp - vinegar

How to Make Country captain pork

  • Wash the pork and boil it with a little salt and 1 cup of water till it is tender.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions lightly.
  • Add the garlic paste and saute for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, vinegar and salt to it.
  • Add the cooked pork along with the soup and cook it on simmer for about 10 minutes till the gravy is thick.
