  • 2 cups - broken wheat
  • 1/2 cup - corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup - green peas
  • 1/2 cup - French beans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - carrot, diced
  • 1/2 cup - Peanuts
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - ginger-chilli paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 tsp - ghee

How to Make Cracked Wheat Khichdi

  • Pour all the ingredients in a rice cooker vessel and add 3 glasses of water.
  • Mix well and cook until done. Serve hot.
