Ingredients

  • 2 cups - cracked wheat
  • 1/2 cup - corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup - green peas
  • 1/2 cup - French beans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - carrot, diced
  • 1/4 cup - peanuts
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - ginger and chilli paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - dhania powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric
  • a pinch of hing
  • 1 tbsp - ghee or oil
  • 3 cups - water
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Cracked Wheat Khichdi with mixed veggies

  • Pour all the ingredients in a pressure cooker with 3 cups of water. Mix well.
  • Cook for 2 whistles.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
