Ingredients

  • 500 gm - Frozen spinach cubes
  • 1 - Tomato medium sized, chopped
  • 1 - Onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 - Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds/Jeera
  • 2 tsp - Oil
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 1/4 cup - Whipped Cream
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Creamy Quick Palak Sabzi

  • In a pan add oil, once hot add cumin seeds.
  • As they splutter add onion, green chillies and fry till onion turns translucent.
  • Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder and fry well.
  • Once done add tomatoes and fry well.
  • Now add red chilli powder and mix well.
  • Now as the tomatoes turn tender, add frozen spinach cubes, salt and mix well.
  • Now add milk and let it cook for a while.
  • Now add garam masala and mix well.
  • Finally on a very low flame add whipped cream and mix.
