Ingredients

  • 1 - cucumber
  • 1 - onion
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Red chilli -1 tsp
  • Lemon - 1
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • 1 cup - rice

How to Make Cucumber Rice

  • Heat a pan and add oil.
  • Splutter the mustard seeds and add onion, curry leaves, asafoetida, turmeric, red chilli.
  • After a while add chopped cucumber, salt and boil.
  • Add the cooked rice.
  • Finally add 1 tsp of lemon and mix with the rice.
