Ingredients

  • Moong dal - 250 gm
  • Red Chilli - 7 or 8
  • Pepper -1 tsp
  • Coconut grated - 4 tsp
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Dal Thogayal

  • Fry moong dhal in a tawa without any oil till it becomes golden brown and keep aside.
  • Fry chillies and pepper with little ghee or oil.
  • Grind fried moong dhal, pepper and chillies with coconut and salt with little water.
  • It will be good with milagu (pepper) rasam.
