Ingredients

  • 1 - medium sized bell pepper
  • 10 - dry red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - methi seeds
  • 1 tsp -urad dal
  • A pinch of hing
  • 1tsp - tamarind pulp
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oils
  • 3 tsps - water

How to Make Easy Red Bell Pepper Chutney

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and fry all the ingredients except bell peppers for 2 mins and set aside.
  • Heat a tbsp of oil in the same pan and fry the bell peppers with salt and turmeric.
  • Bring to room temperature and grind all the ingredients together with 3 tsps of water.
  • Serve with hot rice.
