  • Saboodhana - 1 cup
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Green Chillies- 4, paste
  • Potatoes- 2, boiled and mashed
  • Salt to taste
  • Groundnuts - 1/4 cup, powdered
  • Oil for frying.

How to Make Easy Saboodhana Vada

  • Soak saboodana for 8 hours/ overnight.
  • Drain the water from the saboodana and add the mashed potatoes, green chilli paste, ginger garlic paste, salt, powdered groundnuts and mix well.
  • Let the mixture be firm and thick.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions.
  • Flatten each portion in the shape of a vada.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and take a portion and fry until crisp.
  • Repeat till all the vadas are fried.
  • Serve hot with chutney.
