Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cucumber (grated)
  • 2 cups - fresh curd
  • 1/2 cup - milk
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 3/4 tsp - red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - coarsely ground peanuts
  • 1 tsp - ground sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - each cumin and mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp - coriander, chopped finely

How to Make Festive Cucumber Peanut Raita

  • Crush the seeds together coarsely with stone or pestle.
  • Beat curd and milk together till smooth. Add all ingredients.
  • Mix well and chill for an hour before serving.
