Ingredients

  • 1 tsp - mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp - vinegar
  • 6 - 12 slices - fish (surmai, bangda, hisa, rui)
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - red chilli powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required

How to Make Fried Fish Slices

  • Wash, clean and cut the fish into slices.
  • Make a paste of chilli powder, turmeric powder, vinegar, salt and a little mustard oil.
  • Apply it to the fish slices and keep aside for a while.
  • Heat sufficient cooking oil in a flat frying pan.
  • Slide the fish slices into the pan and fry on both sides until crisp.
  • Remove excess oil and serve.
