  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup - thawed frozen fruits
  • 2 tbsp - icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 1/8 tsp - nutmeg
  • 2 to 3 - drops vanilla essence

How to Make Fruit Omelette

  • Separate the eggs. Lightly beat the yolk and icing.
  • Whisk the whites till stiff.
  • Add vanilla essence and nutmeg.
  • Fold in the yolk.
  • Heat 1 tbsp butter. Pour 1/2 of egg mixture.
  • When it sizzles, pour the remaining half of the mixture.
  • Use spatula to gently push cooked portions to the centre, tilting the pan to allow the uncooked egg to flow into empty spaces.
  • Continue to do this until omelette is set but still moist.
  • Let it cook on slow flame till it is golden from top.
  • Spread half of fruits on half of omelette.
  • Let it cook for 1/2 a minute.
  • Slide into plate. Fold over the other half.
  • Repeat for other omelette.
  • Serve hot.
