Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Basmati Rice
  • 3 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 - Onion (Sliced)
  • 4 - Cloves
  • 4 - Cardamom
  • 1 - Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 - Red Chillies
  • 1/2 cup - Pineapple (Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - Apple - (Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - Grapes (Seedless)
  • 1/2 cup - Orange Juice
  • 1.5 cups - Water
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Fruit Pulao

  • Wash and keep the rice aside for sometime.
  • Take a microwave-safe bowl, place ghee and sliced onion and microwave on 'High' for 2 minutes.
  • Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, red chillies (break into pieces) and rice.
  • Mix well and microwave on 'High' for 2 more minutes.
  • Add water, orange juice and salt.
  • Cook covered in microwave 'High' for 11 minutes.
  • Stir in the chopped apple, pineapple and grapes.
  • Keep covered for a few minutes.
  • Now the fruit Pulao is ready to eat. Serve hot.
