Ingredients

  • All vegetables in equal quantity:
  • Raw bananas
  • Red pumpkin
  • Yam (suran)
  • Raw papaya
  • Drumsticks
  • Potato
  • Sweet potato
  • Raw jackfruit
  • Bread fruit
  • Aravi
  • Green peas
  • Radish
  • 1/2 cup - tur dal
  • For the masala:
  • 1/2 - Grated coconut
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander seeds
  • 12 - Red chillies
  • 1 tsp - Haldi
  • 5-6 - Kokum or tamarind.

How to Make Goan Mixed Vegetable Curry

  • Boil all the vegetables separately, depending on individual cooking time.
  • Boil the dal separately.
  • Grind all the ingredients of the masala and add to the boiled vegetables.
  • Stir in the dal. Heat through and serve hot with rice.
