Ingredients

  • For the Topping:
  • Boiled potatoes -5
  • Boiled mixed vegetables - 1/4 cup (French beans, carrots, green pea)
  • Coriander leaves - 4 tbsp
  • Green chillies - 4
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Dry coriander powder - 1.5 tsp
  • Amchur powder - 1 tsp
  • Dry garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • White bread - 2 slices
  • Poppy seeds - 1/4 cup.
  • Salt to taste.
  • For the base:
  • White bread - one loaf
  • Cookie cutter
  • Oil - for deep frying.

How to Make Gold Coin

  • Mix all the ingredients except poppy seeds and keep it aside.
  • With the cookie cutter, cut the bread slices into desired shapes.
  • Now place the mixture on top of the bread pieces.
  • Dip the topping side into the poppy seeds.
  • Finally deep fry the pieces.
