Ingredients

  • 1 cup - stem-free gongura leaves
  • 4 - red chillies
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - fenugreek seeds
  • A pinch asafetida
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 4 tsp - sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp - salt

How to Make Gongura leaf chutney

  • In a pan, heat oil and fry all the ingredients except mustard.
  • Grind to make a coarse paste. Temper mustard seeds separately and add to the chutney.
  • This chutney can be had with rice or dosa.
