Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg lamb or mutton chops, flattened a little
  • 2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 4 green chillies
  • 3 tbsp - coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cardamom
  • 2 pieces - cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp -turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 3 potatoes, cut into quarters
  • 2 onions, sliced finely
  • 1/2 cup coconut paste

How to Make Green Masala Lamb - Mutton Chops

  • Grind the green chillies, coriander leaves, coconut, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cumin seeds with vinegar to a smooth paste in a blender.
  • Heat oil in pressure cooker and fry the onions till golden brown.
  • Add the meat, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for some time.
  • Now add the ground paste, salt and mix well.
  • Keep frying on low heat till the oil separates from the mixture.
  • Add the potatoes, sufficient water and pressure cook for 15 mins.
  • Serve hot.
