Ingredients

  • 200 g - cottage cheese / paneer
  • 1 - tomato, chopped
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1/4 inch ginger, chopped
  • 1 - capsicum , cubed
  • 1 - green chilli, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • Spices:
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 1 tsp - dry mango powder/amchur powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - canola oil
  • coriander leaves to garnish
  • 8 - sandwich bread slices
  • 1 tbsp - butter

How to Make Grilled Paneer Bhurji Sandwich

  • In a pan, heat oil.
  • Add onions and stir it till it becomes translucent.
  • Saute onions.
  • Add cumin seeds, ginger and green chilli.
  • Saute for 1 minute.
  • Stir and add capsicum.
  • After a minute, add tomatoes.
  • Stir it for two minutes.
  • Add spices and salt, mix well.
  • Finally add scrambled paneer and mix well.
  • Cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Add coriander leaves and set aside.
  • Paneer Bhurji:
  • Butter the bread on one side and spread paneer mixture on it.
  • Cover the slice with another buttered side of bread.
  • Grill the sandwich and serve it hot with chutney or sauce.
