Ingredients

  • 1 -3 pound - chicken, cut into 10 medium-sized pieces
  • 1/3 cup - honey
  • 2/3 cup - sesame seed
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup - melted margarine
  • 1 pinch - ground garlic/garlic powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Honey Sesame Chicken

  • Pre-heat the oven to 400 degree F.
  • Make a batter of honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, margarine, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Marinate the chicken in this mixture for 10 minutes and then sprinkle the sesame seeds.
  • Place the pieces on a non-stick baking pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven until the chicken is cooked (check by piercing with a fork), opening occasionally and basting with pan drippings.
  • Serve with garlic bread, coleslaw, coke and fries.
