Ingredients

  • Palak - 1 bunch
  • Paneer (cubed) - 1 cup
  • Onions, chopped roughly - 1
  • 2 - Medium-sized tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam masala - 1 tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Whole garam masala (cardamom, cloves and cinnamon) - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp

How to Make Hot n Spicy Palak Paneer

  • In a pan, dry roast the whole garam masala and keep aside.
  • Roughly chop the spinach leaves, microwave for 2 mins and make a puree out of it. Keep aside in a pan.
  • Add the onions, tomato and boil till it becomes soft.
  • Add the onion-tomato mixture, roasted garam masala, ginger-garlic and grind it to a smooth puree.
  • In a non-stick pan, add this puree and saute it till it becomes light brown.
  • Add the garam masala, chilli powder, mango powder and salt.
  • Saute for 5 mins. Then add the spinach puree and mix well.
  • Once it is blended well, add the paneer pieces and mix well.
