  • 1 pack - unsweetened puffed wheat cereal
  • 2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 3 to 4 - chopped green chillies (add more or less according to taste.)
  • 1/2 cup - roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup - salted cashews
  • 1/2 cup - dry raisins
  • Edible Oil for seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of asafoetida

How to Make Instant Chivda

  • Heat oil in a non-stick vessel.
  • Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and hing, chopped chillies and fry till golden brown.
  • Lastly, add salt and let cool.
  • Mix together wheat cereal, peanuts, cashews and raisins in a large bowl.
  • Pour oil with seasonings and mix well.
