  • 1 cup - raw rice
  • 1 cup - par boiled rice
  • 1 cup - toor dal
  • 2 tbsp - coconut
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 8 - red chillies
  • Drumstick greens - as needed
  • Asafetida - a pinch
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Iron-rich drumstick adai

  • Soak raw rice, par boiled rice and toor dal together in water for 2 hours.
  • Grind the rice coarsely along with other ingredients (except greens ) and when the batter is ready add greens to it and mix well.
  • Make adai on a tawa, roasting it on both the sides.
