  • 4 - medium sized or 3 large Tomatoes
  • 1/4 tbsp - cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder (optional)
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 1/2 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 cup - water (optional)

How to Make Jatphat Tomato Soup

  • Microwave the tomatoes for 5 mins.
  • Peel them off and along with all the ingredients except butter blend it till no more lumps of tomato remain in food processor.
  • In a cooking pan take butter and add the blended mixture to it.
  • Simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add a little water to get the desired consistency.
  • Remove from the pan and filter it to get a smooth soup.
  • Serve it hot before dinner or lunch.
