Ingredients

  • 50 g - dried mango powder (Amchoor)
  • 2 tbsp - cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 9 tbsp - crushed sugar powder
  • 1 medium- sized lime
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Jeera Goli

  • Spread cumin seeds in a pan and roast on medium heat.
  • Continue till jeera turns dark red.
  • Crush into a fine powder.
  • Set aside 1 tbsp of sugar powder in a bowl.
  • Mix the remaining sugar powder, lime juice, jeera powder, dried mango powder and salt into a smooth lump.
  • Roll these into small balls.
  • Roll the jeera balls in sugar powder in the bowl.
  • Put those balls on a paper and dry for 1.5 hours in sunlight.
  • Store in a dry, airtight bottle.
  • These can be eaten after a meal.
