Ingredients

  • 200 g - paneer cheese
  • 1 - capsicum
  • 1 - tomato, diced
  • 1 - onion, diced
  • 5 g - fresh coriander, diced
  • 2 - red chillies (halved)
  • Pinch of cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 50 g - cashew nut paste (blended with water)
  • 50 ml - cream
  • 2 cloves - garlic
  • ground to a paste
  • 2 cm - ginger
  • Ground to a paste
  • 50 g - tomato paste
  • 25 ml (2 tbsp -) cooking oil
  • 5 g - chopped fresh coriander to garnish.

How to Make Kadhai Paneer Cottage Cheese

  • Cut paneer into strips, similar to french fries.
  • Heat oil so that it sizzles when you add a few cumin seeds.
  • Add coriander, red chillies and paneer cheese.
  • Cook for 5 mins, then add diced onion, fresh tomato and capsicum, followed by the remaining ingredients.
  • Heat everything thoroughly, for 5 more mins.
  • Garnish dish with coriander and serve with rice or tandoori nan.
