Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - spinach
  • 1 - small onion
  • 2 tbsp - coconut
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 1/2 tbsp - spoon tamarind
  • salt to taste and oil for frying

How to Make Keerai Kootu

  • Heat oil in a pan, and fry spinach for few minutes.
  • Add coconut, chillies and onion to the spinach and fry till the raw smell goes.
  • Add tamarind and salt to the spinach and grind to a smooth paste.
  • Again bring it to boil.
